Herbosa vows to pay benefits of nurses

THE Department of Health (DoH) on Tuesday gave assurances that benefits due to health care workers, especially nurses, will be given to prevent them from leaving the country.

In a briefing in Malacañang, Health Secretary Teodoro Herbosa said this specifically pertains to medical workers who have yet to receive their emergency allowance for their services rendered at the height of the coronavirus pandemic.
