THE Department of Social Welfare and Development is considering offering cash assistance to households that may be affected by the continuing unrest of Mayon Volcano.
"We can empower them with the right to choose. You give them cash, and they can go to their grocers to buy their family's needs," DSWD Secretary Rexlon Gatchalian said in a media interview on Tuesday.
