THE local power sector's prospects have improved given a government push to improve energy security, a Fitch Group unit said.
"We believe that the market is working toward increased energy security, mainly in supplying the electricity sector, evidenced by the operation license extension of the Malampaya gas field," BMI said in a June 12 report.
