Over a hundred Filipino seafarers participated in the "Financial Literacy Orientation for Seafarers" hosted by the National Maritime Polytechnic (NMP) on June 6, 2023 at the NMP Annex Building in Cabalawan, Tacloban City.
The seminar was held in time with the 28th National Migrant Workers' Day to help seafarers manage their finances, learn about medical and life insurance, as well as make informed investments.
