Vivant Energy buys GPI's stakes in firms

VIVANT Energy Corp. has acquired the ownership stakes and some subscription rights of partner Gigawatt Power Inc. (GPI) in businesses that primarily service off-grid areas.

Parent firm Vivant Corp. said Vivant Energy completed the transactions — approved by its board last May 17 — on June 1.
