BACOLOD CITY: Various hog diseases claimed the lives of 99.22 percent of the entire pig population in the municipality of San Enrique, Negros Occidental, a June 11 report from the Provincial Veterinary Office (PVO) showed.
A PVO report revealed that 2,671 out of the 2,692 pig population from 508 hog raisers in 10 barangay (villages) of San Enrique have died of various diseases.
