THE southwest monsoon or "habagat" will continue to bring rain in most parts of the country, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said on Tuesday.

"Based on our forecast track, the country is expected to be free from any storm in the coming days and the southwest monsoon is the one that is affecting large parts of the country," Pagasa's weather specialist Grace Castaneda said.
