THE Public Attorney's Office (PAO) has sought a dialogue with the Supreme Court in connection with the "detrimental" provisions under the newly approved Code of Professional Responsibility and Accountability (CPRA) that will endanger the "life and limb" of public lawyers, among others.

PAO chief Persida Rueda-Acosta on Monday told The Manila Times she and other key agency officials have written Chief Justice Alexander Gesmundo and other top magistrates for a dialogue to explain to them why they want Section 22, Canon III of Administrative Matters 22-09-01-SC deleted or removed from the CPRA.
