Pangasinan honors local hero on Independence Day

LINGAYEN, Pangasinan: The provincial government here on Monday honored former governor Daniel Maramba to mark the 125th Independence Day celebration in Pangasinan.

'We took a different approach to the celebration of our Independence Day, and we chose to celebrate the life of a local hero so that we continue to remember what he has done not only for the province but of the whole country,' said Gov. Ramon Guico 3rd.
