Makati City revives free movies for senior residents

MAKATI Mayor Abby Binay today announced the highly-anticipated return of free movies for some 82,617 senior citizens in the city who are Blu card members and Makatizen Virtual Card holders.

During the relaunch of the program at Glorietta 4 today, the mayor said the city had to temporarily halt the free movies program at the height of the pandemic in 2020 to prioritize the safety and well-being of senior citizens.
