Southwest monsoon prevails, to bring rain

With Tropical Storm Chedeng gone, the southwest monsoon will prevail in most parts of the country and bring rain, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said Monday.

Weather specialist Obet Badrina said the storm blew out of the country Sunday night.
