Canada and United Nations agencies UN Women and the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) launched the joint program on advancing the Women, Peace and Security (WPS) agenda in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao in collaboration with the Bangsamoro Planning and Development Authority (BPDA) and the Bangsamoro Women Commission (BWC).
The "Empowering Women for Sustainable Peace in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM)" is a joint program of UNDP Philippines and UN Women Asia and the Pacific, which will run until 2025.
