Spogomi qualifiers held in Manila

(UPDATE) HEAVY rains failed to dampen the holding on Saturday of the first Spogomi Philippines qualifying tournament at the Baseco Beachfront Park in Manila.

A total of 17 groups participated in the trash-picking sport, which originated in Japan in 2008 as a way to reduce coastal waste.
