Muntinlupa signs landmark law promoting gender-safe spaces

THE City of Muntinlupa is now adding the necessary legal power it needs to combat gender-based sexual harassment and make the city truly a safe space.

The Sangguniang Panlungsod recently approved on third reading Ordinance 2023-077, also known as the 'Respeto sa Kapwa Muntinlupeño' ordinance, which aims to prevent the occurrence of gender-based sexual harassment in public spaces such as streets, workplaces and educational institutions as well as online.
