Contestants from 17 groups joined the first-ever 'Spogomi' trash-picking competition in the Philippines at the Baseco Beach in Manila on Saturday, June 10, 2023. Spogomi, a combination of 'sports' and 'trash' in Japanese, was first held in Japan in 2008 to clean up the coastlines.
