LEGAZPI CITY, Albay: The provincial government of Albay will evacuate residents living inside the six-kilometer permanent danger zone (PDZ) after the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) raised the alert status of the restive Mayon volcano from Level 2 to Level 3 on Thursday, June 8, 2023, Cedric Daep, chief of the Albay Public Safety Emergency Management Office (Apsemo), said.
