CARMONA, Cavite: A plebiscite on the cityhood bid of Carmona town here in Cavite province will take place on July 8, 2023, based on Proclamation 245 declaring the date a special nonworking holiday in the town to give way to the voting that will start at 7 a.m. and end at 3 p.m.
The Commission on Elections (Comelec) on Thursday launched checkpoints led by provincial election supervisor Mico Morales-Castro in her concurrent capacity as acting election officer of Carmona for the duration of the voting period.
