PRESIDENT Ferdinand Marcos Jr. on Thursday assured the public that the government is prepared in case residents would be required to evacuate due to the current activities of Taal and Mayon volcanoes.

Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of the awarding ceremony of the Award for Promoting Philippines-China Understanding at the Manila Hotel, the President said the government is closely monitoring the status of both Taal and Mayon volcanoes.
