The bidding process for the Ninoy Aquino International Airport's (NAIA) privatization could start this September even as the government has yet to decide on how to proceed, a Transportation department official said on Thursday.
The Manila International Airport Consortium's (MIAC) unsolicited offer to upgrade and rehabilitate NAIA is still on the table despite a solicited public-private partnership (PPP) model having been submitted to the National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) for consideration, Transportation Undersecretary Roberto Lim said.
