Phivolcs raises Mayon Volcano's alert to level 3

Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) raised the alert status of Mayon Volcano in Albay from level 2 to level 3.

The volcano's tendency towards a hazardous eruption has also increased, the Phivolcs said.
