INTENSIFYING while moving over the Philippine Sea, Tropical Storm "Chedeng" will likely enhance the southwest monsoon, which will bring rain and winds in Mindanao and the Visayas starting Thursday.
Weather specialist Aldczar Aurelio of the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services (Pagasa) said that Chedeng has a "very slim" chance of making landfall as it remains far from the landmass.
