Court denial of de Lima bail 'frustrates' Hontiveros

SEN. Ana Theresia 'Risa' Hontiveros said former senator Leila de Lima deserves a speedy trial as she expressed frustration over her prolonged detention following a local court's denial of her bail petition.

The senator deplored the decision of the Muntinlupa Regional Trial Court Branch 256 rejecting de Lima's bail request.
