THE Philippines has passed its wave of cases of the Arcturus or XBB.1.16 subvariant of Covid-19, a leading infectious disease expert said.
Dr. Rontgene Solante, president of the Philippine College of Physicians, said that the threat from the highly infectious subvariant has been mostly contained, as cases have already decreased in the country.
