Swimmer Alegarbes bags gold in Asean Para Games

Philippine flag bearer and swimmer Ariel Joseph Alegarbes reigned supreme in the 12th ASEAN Para Games men's 50m butterfly S14 event with a time of 26.69 seconds at the Morodok Aquatic Center on Monday, June 5.

Bryan Kai of Malaysia finished second to Alegarbes with a clocking of 27.060 as his compatriot Muhammad Redzuan registered 27.530 seconds and placed third.
