Phivolcs warns against impending Mayon explosion

LEGAZPI CITY: The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said that Mayon Volcano may explode anytime as it continues to show signs of unrest.

Paul Alanis, Phivolcs resident volcanologist in Bicol, said that the alert level was raised from 1 to 2. He warned the public not to enter the six-kilometer permanent danger zone.
