Richard Gomez optimistic on Catantan's fast recovery

Philippine Fencing Assocition (PFA) president Richard Gomez remains hopeful that Filipino top fencer Samantha Catantan will get her form back in time for the remaining FIE-sanctioned qualifying tournaments for the 2024 Paris Olympics.

'I hope she can still make it. If, by January she has recovered already, Sam still has a three-month window to qualify (to Paris),'' said Gomez, a representative in the fourth district of Leyte and first vice president at the Philippine Olympic Committee (POC).
