MPIC extends proxy submission deadline

METRO Pacific Investments Corp. (MPIC) has extended a proxy submission deadline to give shareholders more time to consider a plan to delist from the Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE).

In a disclosure on Monday, the firm said the new deadline would be June 2 instead of today, May 30. Shareholders will be asked to approve the delisting plan during a meeting on June 6.
