THE Philippine Economic Zone Authority announced the groundbreaking of Catanduanes State University's (CatSU's) Knowledge, Innovation, Science and Technology (KIST) Park and Agro-Industrial Processing Zone in Virac, Catanduanes, the first for these ecozone models to be approved by PEZA in the Bicol Region.
The PEZA announced on Friday, May 26, these model ecozones will bring a total of P1.5 billion worth of investments in the province that will benefit 263,000 residents.
