THE Department of Budget and Management (DBM) on Friday assured the public that funds are ready for disbursement as the government puts in place all contingency measures for Super Typhoon "Mawar" (international name).
In a statement DBM Secretary Amenah Pangandaman said the government still has some P18.3 billion in calamity funds, including the P1.5 billion carry over from last year's budget, that can be used for various disaster relief operations until the end of 2023.
