Chicken, swine, cattle production up in Q1

THE production of chicken, hog and cattle in the country increased in the first three months of 2023, the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) reported.

Chicken production was estimated at 470,210 metric tons (MT) liveweight in January to March 2023, indicating an annual growth of 3.3 percent from the 455,040 MT liveweight output in the same period of 2022.
