Evidence in Degamo slay still strong despite witnesses' retractions – prosecution

DESPITE retractions by four suspects in the killing of Negros Oriental governor Roel Degamo, the cases against them are still strong enough for a successful prosecution, according to the Department of Justice (DoJ).

Senior Deputy State Prosecutor Richard Anthony Fadullon on Tuesday said they have substantial evidence to successfully prosecute the suspects that are now in the custody of law enforcement authorities.
