2022 polls debate organizer failed to submit documents in pay claim – Comelec exec

THE Commission on Elections insisted that the organizer of the televised debate during the 2022 national elections failed to submit documents needed to prove that they have fulfilled their contractual obligation.

In her letter to Impact Hub Philippines (IHP), Comelec Executive Director Teopista Elnas Jr. explained that if one demands for payment, it means that an obligation has been fulfilled, and should be substantiated in accordance with accounting and auditing requirements since it involves public money.
