Malolos city govt starts Pallgu program for 2,000 farmers

THE city government of Malolos in Bulacan has started the distribution of P3.00 additional payment for harvested palay per kilo to more than 2,000 local palay farmers here under the Palay Marketing Assistance Program for Legislators and Local Government Units (Pallgu).

Mayor Christian Natividad said that Pallgu is a program that will benefit local farmers, it is an additional income from the LGU, an established program by the National Food Authority (NFA) that enables farmers to increase their profits.
