Veteran journalist, book awardee to head govt information arm

PRESIDENT Ferdinand Marcos Jr. has appointed award-winning journalist and two-time National Book Award recipient Jose Torres Jr. as the new director general of the Philippine Information Agency (PIA), Malacañang announced Tuesday.
