THE Department of Tourism (DoT) reported on Monday it has trained 43,813 people on the Filipino Brand of Service Excellence (FBSE), bringing it closer to its target of having 100,000 trained individuals by 2023.

"We recognize that Filipino hospitality is one of the greatest strengths of Philippine tourism that could enhance the overall tourist experience and strategically position the Philippines as a center for hospitality excellence in Asia," Tourism Secretary Christina Garcia Frasco said.
