Tip before booking a ride

LAST week, Land Transportation Franchising Regulatory Board (LTFRB) Chairman Teofilo Guadiz 3rd sent out a warning to transport network companies (TNC) to follow the rules of the ride hailing app business or face consequences.

The warning stemmed from a complaint received by the LTFRB by the Coalition for Filipino Commuters (CFC) reporting a TNC implementing what is called a 'tip before booking' system on their mobile phone app.
