Villar assures support for mango industry

SEN. Cynthia Villar has vowed to push for the development and promotion of the country's mango industry.

'But the industry is faced with declining yield and quality attributed to pests and diseases, poor nutrient and water management, low adoption of improved technologies, and high post-harvest losses,' said Villar, the Senate agriculture and food committee chairman.
