PEZA to help promote domestic halal industry

THE Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA) expressed its commitment to promote the halal industry in the Philippines.

During a PTV Philippines briefing on Monday, PEZA public relations manager Aleem Siddiqui Guipal said the agency had signed a memorandum of understanding with the National Commission on Muslim Filipinos and Mindanao Development Authority in order to take a whole-of-government approach to support the sector.
