Pope asks cardinal to lead Ukraine peace mission

(UPDATE) VATICAN CITY: Pope Francis has asked Cardinal Matteo Zuppi, head of the Italian bishops' conference, to lead a peace mission to try and stop the war in Ukraine, the Vatican said Saturday.
