GENERAL TRIAS, Cavite: To speed up the local government services of General Trias, the LGU launched an online payment service for business and real property taxes in collaboration with the Land Bank of the Philippines (Landbank). Mayor Luis 'Jon Jon' Ferrer 4th, Vice Mayor Jonas Labuguen, City Administrator Donna Jordan, City Treasurer Cecilia Prudente, Business Permit and Licensing Office head Romel Olimpo, and officials of Landbank led the platform's launch at the City Park conference room in Barangay San Juan 1 here. 'Paying business permits and real estate taxes online through the Landbank's LinkBiz Portal is now possible,' Labuguen said in his speech before the city official. 'Our local government will continue to strive to bring services to the public through innovative technologies like this,' Ferrer said. Ferrer said that part of the dream to make General Trias a center of commerce begins with this online payment platform.
