CALABARZON chiefs of police reshuffled

CALAMBA, Laguna: Police Regional Office 4A (Calabarzon) reshuffled 12 of its chiefs of police. Seven are from Batangas, three are from Laguna, and two are new from Quezon. Cavite and Rizal have yet to be reshuffled. In Batangas, LtCol. Ariel Azurin, Lipa City chief of police, was replaced by LtCol. Rix Villareal. Azurin assumed command as 1st Provincial Mobile Force Company commander. LtCol. Dwight Fonte Jr. was replaced by LtCol. Diana del Rosario as Batangas City police chief. Maj. Janver Cabata assumes his post as chief of police of Ibaan; Maj. Ronnie Aurellano as Rosario police chief; Maj. Danilo Manalo Jr. in San Luis; Maj. Fernando Fernando in Taal; and Major Richard de Guzman in Tingloy. In Laguna, Maj. Ajalino Balaoro, chief of police of Liliw; Maj. Melencio Arcita Jr., chief of Magdalena; and Maj. Jordan Aguilar, chief of Victoria, were replaced by Cpt. John Patrick de los Santos, Cpt. Errol Frejas and Cpt. Myra Desiree Pasta, respectively. In Quezon, Maj. Joseph Ian Java, Malunay police chief, was replaced by Maj. Marlon Comia of Macalelon, who in turn was replaced by Cpt. Harold Panganiban. BGen. Carlito Gaces, Calabarzon police regional director, said the reshuffle was necessary as a new post brings new challenges for career enhancement and a new breed of officers are given new opportunities.
