Marcos: Gloria demotion 'part of House revamp'

PAGUDPUD, Ilocos Norte: President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. on Friday downplayed the ouster of Pampanga Rep. Gloria Macapagal Arroyo as House of Representatives senior deputy speaker as part of a 'reorganization' in the chamber.

On Wednesday, Arroyo was demoted to deputy speaker, and her former post was taken over by Pampanga Third District Rep. Aurelio 'Dong' Gonzales Jr.
