Guterres: End digital divide through better tech access, inclusivity

THE digital revolution offers 'tremendous opportunities' to fast-track sustainable development, but poor countries need much more help getting online if they are also to benefit, United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres said.

In a video message released on Wednesday to mark Thursday as World Telecommunication and Information Society Day, Guterres called the digital revolution a 'defining force of our era.'
