THE Manila Times columnist and former senator Francisco "Kit" Tatad joined at least three geopolitics analysts in asking the Philippine government to revisit its military bases agreement, or the Enhanced Defense Cooperation Agreement (EDCA), with the United States, which they described as unconstitutional and "very dangerous."
Tatad, foreign policy analyst Sass Rogando Sasot, Asian Century Philippines Strategic Studies Vice President for External Affairs Anna Malindog-Uy and former Philippine diplomat in Washington, D.C. Ado Paglinawan said during the Pandesal Forum at the Kamuning Bakery Café in Quezon City that the government must uphold the United Nations' recognized "One China" policy.
