A low pressure area (LPA) has been spotted off Mindanao but still outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR), the state weather bureau said on Thursday.
"The LPA has the chance to develop into a tropical depression in the next two to four days as a tropical depression," weather specialist Benison Estareja of the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said.
