In a dazzling display of strength, resilience and elegance, reigning Miss Universe R'Bonney Nola Gabriel emerged as an empowering figure for her fellow women and Filipino fashion in her very first visit to the country.

Feeling immediately at home in her father's birthplace, the half-Filipino-half-American global beauty titlist was in Manila to grace this year's Miss Universe-Philippines pageant, which concluded on Saturday at the Mall of Asia Arena.
