THE International Maritime Organization (IMO) urged its member-states to fight climate change by unlocking opportunities in green shipping and decarbonization.
IMO Secretary-General Kitack Lim said the Asia Pacific is in an excellent position to unlock the potential of green shipping, which includes opportunities in retrofitting ships and digitalizing port operations.
