After struggling under the intense heat at the playing venue throughout the group stage matches, naturalized Filipino Justin Brownlee finally had a breakthrough in a game that could have serious consequences on the Philippines' gold medal hopes in the 32nd Southeast Asian Games men's basketball in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.

The 34-year-old Brownlee erupted for 34 points, knocking down five triples, while collaring nine rebounds and issuing five assists in a huge effort to will Gilas Pilipinas back from a double-digit deficit.
