THE Public Attorney's Office (PAO) has sought the indefinite suspension in the implementation of a 'questionable' conflict-of-interest provision of the Supreme Court's newly approved Code of Professional Responsibility and Accountability (CPRA).

PAO chief Persida Rueda-Acosta told The Manila Times on Monday she and other key agency officials have written Chief Justice Alexander Gesmundo to reiterate their appeal to take a closer look at the CPRA provisions, particularly Section 22, Canon III, which deals with PAO and conflict of interest.
