WHILE former president Rodrigo Duterte said that he is "not interested" and will "let the law take its course" on the acquittal of former senator Leila de Lima, his former chief legal counsel questioned certain circumstances which led to the court's decision.
The court last week junked the second of three criminal charges filed against de Lima which stemmed from allegations that she took payments from drug syndicates while she was the secretary of the Department of Justice.
